4 useful tips to learn to speak Spanish efficiently:

  • Enjoy the learning process and keep the good mood. If you feel relaxed and happy when you study, you will understand more easily and learn faster.
  • Lose the fear of speaking and practicing the language with other people, trust in your ability to learn and speak Spanish. Do not criticize yourself, always support yourself. When you will have your first conversation in Spanish say to yourself that you did very well for the first time. Then, when you have spoken sometimes more, you will speak and understand much better.
  • Create a foundation of the Spanish language, learning the grammar rules. In order to be able to speak the language you need to understand the way it works.
  • Practice and study Spanish as much as you can, hopefully every day. Practice makes perfect.
    • Write your new words in flash cards to memorize them. Take them with you so you can study when you have the chance. Flash cards help you self-assess and measure the number of words you have learned.
    • Memorize the words, saying them out loud.
    • Read Spanish texts aloud.
    • Look at yourself in a mirror speaking Spanish.
    • Write in Spanish your own experiences and thoughts.
    • Listen to songs in Spanish and try to write the words you understand, then compare them with the lyrics of the song and learn the song by heart.
    • Practice the conversation in Spanish at least twice a week.
